We are offering a large collection of Bordallo Pinheiro ceramic dinnerware.  Raphaelo Bordallo Pinheiro (Portugal company founded in 1884), 20th Century.
Most all is in green, however, we have some pink available as well.  These are genuine pieces that are known for their intricate design, thick glossy glaze.  They are in a "majolica-style" sculpted pieces in the form of fruit, vegetables, animals.  They have a 3D effect using a range of different tones in the glaze, as opposed to solid colors.  Not all pieces will be the same in color and tone.  We are happy to combine shipping should you wish to purchase multiple pieces, we will be happy to save you money!
DESIGN PLATES: Garden Veggies Vegetables - Celery Carrots Lettuce, etc. detailing.
MAKER MARK:  Stamped / Printed in Black.  It is a Frog motif design inside double banded circular frame which contains the words BORDALLO PINHEIRO in uppercase block lettering.  You may see EST. 1884 within the bands, or not.  This design changed.  It may also say MADE IN PORTUGAL with a large black dot off to the side.
SIZE:  Accent Salad Plate is 8-1/4" in diameter
CONDITION:  Vintage, but in excellent condition.  We believe most of the pieces from this collection were purchased and never used.  The cups and saucers are excellent.  No chips, cracks, stains, repairs, utensil marks.  You may see some crazing in glaze.  Please review photos with care and/or ask questions prior to purchase.
