BARLING UNSMOKED "LONDONER" CHESTNUT FINISH SADDLE BRANDY 4899 ESTATE PIPE

Description

Despite being a post-transition Barling, this unsmoked Londoner is really a beautiful pipe!!! The colors, the grain, and the shape all combine for a fantastic piece that I'm sure will smoke quite nicely. It's a lovely Brandy shape 4899 that shows some Danish influence with its soft lines. The bowl is stout carrying thick walls with about a Group 4 size chamber. Bottom is flat allowing the pipe to rest on it's own before transitioning to a sturdy round shank that meets the vulcanite long saddle stem, classic Barling style with Barling Cross logo. The finish as previously mentioned is honestly one of the most beautiful I think I have ever seen and reminds me of autumn as it is a combination of rich Bruyere, Chestnut, and golden contrast undertones all while showing incredible depth with the grain displaying swirling birdseye on the flanks with fine cross grain to the front and rear. A lovely Barling indeed and awaits its first smoke!
