Description
Paolo Corso resides in Italy where he hand carves pipes the old school way using only the finest aged Italian. He hand-cuts his stems and has a focus on precision engineering while also employing a variety of beautiful finishes and shapes. If you have not yet smoked one of his pipes, it is time to treat yourself as they are certainly special! An avid fisherman, he grades his pipes Bass/Black Bass, Trout, and Salmon in ascending order and puts a silver fish hook in the stems of all his creations. To the untrained eye, this pipe looks fantastic in all facets yet Paolo is a perfectionist so with even the most minor of "flaws" the pipe essentially becomes a second as seen here with this awesome Canadian with a Brandy shaped bowl. What's wrong with it? Good question, not much. The rim is just a touch thinner than intended however there is still plenty of briar surrounding the generous chamber. The bowl feels perfect in hand and at only 33g this pipe is exceptionally lightweight. The shank is long, creased and oval and he even extended it slightly to the heel of the bowl. Stem is hand-cut ebonite with crisp bit and inlaid silver fish hook logo. The finish is a warm golden contrast while the blast shows amazing 360 degree ring grain, wow! Awaiting its maiden voyage, this Corso simply will not disappoint. Comes with green logo glove to protect your new favorite Italian pipe!Nomenclature: CORSO, BASS, HAND MADE IN ITALY
