PORSCHE DESIGN UNSMOKED FLAME GRAIN HORN SHAPE 909 ESTATE PIPE COMPLETE

Description

I've always admired these pipes but never had the money to buy myself one as they retail for a pretty penny! Listed as a Horn shape, to my eye it's more of a bent Apple but either way it's a really killer design. The 909 to me is the finest shape in the Porsche portfolio and fits like a glove in hand. It's about a Group 4 but feels firm and has thick "radiator" walls surrounding the generous chamber to allow for a cool smoke. The rim is incredible, a brilliant chrome cap that is bolted down to add yet another dimension to the pipe that reminds us this is the sports car of pipes! The bowl gets thicker at the mid section before tapering slightly and effortlessly transitioning to the muscular round shank that meets the 9mm capable down-turned black lucite stem with chrome ring and fishtail bit. The finish on this pipe is incredible and reminds me of a 1980's Dunhill Root Briar natural that shows a touch of red to the contrast while the wood displays stunning flame and swirling birdseye, wow! Comes complete with original box, registration card and sock, this awesome pipe awaits it's first test drive!
